This mandatory class will prepare students for jobs, interviews and success in the workplace with the most competitive research and practice skill set.  This nationally offered class is the final step towards achieving your LexisNexis Professional Certification.  Once you have completed these successfully, you can represent you completed LexisNexis Professional Research Certification on your resume and Linked In. We will review topics including cost effective research and pricing, researching unfamiliar topics, statutes and regulations, drafting pleadings, motions and transactional documents.  Note that Legal Research Certification (from fall semester) is NOT a prerequisite to Professional Research Certification, but we presuppose students have had intro training on Lexis Advance and have established a basic foundation into legal research methodology.
